Welcome back to the world of NAO robotics! In this session, we begin creating interactive functions that use the touch sensors, microphones, and cameras on the NAO robot. Participants will continue to learn new elements of programming logic and language embedded into Choregraphe, and see how they can be used to create deeper programming tasks for their students.
Join us as we continue to explore the world of NAO robotics! In this session, we introduce the Choregraphe software and begin to use it to program NAO to talk, move and walk. Participants will explore how to start programming their robot, and discuss how to use the software to introduce key elements of programming logic and language.
Hello again from the world of NAO robotics! In this session, participants will walk through how to locate, download, and install useful apps to be played directly from the NAO robot. We will also explore several examples of applications available in the App Store, including interactive apps and important programs for robot safety. Finally, we will explain the purpose of the Basic Channel and provide criteria on its effective use.
Congratulations on joining the world of NAO robotics! In this session, we provide a short introduction and walkthrough on how to set up your new NAO robot for the classroom. Participants will explore how to connect their robot to WiFi, and update their settings to prepare for student use
Join us as we continue your learning experience with the NAO Robot, by expanding on some of the commands we have already explored in Choregraphe software. Learn more about movement with the NAO Robot, and expand your knowledge on some of the more advanced features of programming that are available with Choregraphe and NAO to maximize usability with software and hardware.
Foster STEM-based skills that can lead your students towards careers in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and more. Learn how to use the Choregraphe software in order to easily program the NAO robot. Walk away with the ability to connect your robot to a computer, and create, save, and play simple NAO robot behaviors.
The NAO Robot is an exciting educational tool that not only teaches students the basics of computer programming, through the accompanying software Choregraphe, but is also an ultimate educational tool that can serve as a platform to encourage group work, scripting, storyboarding, and much much more. Join us as we go through programming a story with the NAO Robot. This activity will have students working in groups, scripting out a multi-ending story and then programing the NAO Robot. Learn how we can incorporate crucial literacy skills and pair it with the computer programing component of Choregraphe.
