No musical abilities are required for the 7th session of our Apple Digital Teacher Certification. We will be showing you some of the basic features of GarageBand to help bring music into your classroom, whether you have a music background, or not! Representing Data in Charts

The purpose of a chart is to visualize data in a way that accurately represents the story a dataset is telling. Tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and Numbers offer a wide variety of chart options and it is sometimes difficult to decide which works best for your purpose and identify which don’t work at all. Join us as we discuss what components are important in various chart types and the ways you can help students choose the appropriate chart for their dataset!

Identifying Effective Classroom Technology Usage

What makes a great technology-infused lesson?  How can you encourage teachers to better utilize their available classroom technology more effectively? Participants will leave this session with an understanding of two popular model frameworks for integrating technology tools: SAMR and T-PACK. Administrators will be better able to motivate their teachers into higher levels of effective technology usage, and teachers will be able to do lesson planning to enable deeper understanding and increased engagement from their students.

Project Based Learning with the iPad
