While attending PAX East 2017 we were enlightened by a panel discussion ran by the founders of Wheelhouse Workshop, a social skills group based in Seattle, WA. Wheelhouse Workshop has been helping teens and adolescents build social skills with role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons for a few years now and they are seeing positive outcomes.
