We’ll also discuss some activity ideas for your students so they can get started on creating their unique projects! Let’s explore what this user-friendly printer has to offer!

Sphero RVR Basics

Sphero RVR is a programmable robot car that takes coding to the next level! RVR customizations let you to connect third-party hardware, and can change the look and feel of this mobile robot! In this session, we'll discuss the basics of using the Sphero RVR to drive across terrains, connect hardware, code using sensors, and even play games. We'll also discuss activities that can be done right in the Sphero app. Let’s get our Sphero RVR rolling!

Expanding ELL Vocabulary Through STEM

Are you struggling to find the right tools to bridge the gap between STEM and ELL vocabulary? We know that teaching ELLs outside of the English classroom can be challenging, but communicating through STEM subjects can make it that much easier! In this session, we'll discuss strategies to increase acquisition of academic English language through STEM and NGSS across all grade levels. We will also learn how STEM literacy and English Language Learner literacy can be used productively together.
