Congratulations! You have made it to the final session in our Google Educator Advanced certification series! Google Chrome Sign Builder

Wouldn’t it be great to have an easy way to schedule the content you plan to display on your Chrome device tomorrow, next week, or even next month? Chrome Sign Builder is a Google Chrome app that allows school administrators, and anyone they grant permission to, the opportunity to create schedules for what will be displayed on Chrome devices throughout the school. With Chrome Sign Builder the options are endless — from images, to Google Slides presentations, to YouTube videos and playlists. Join us to learn how it works!

Teq DTC: Google Educator Advanced Session 11 - Fostering Collaboration and Leadership

Session 11 in our Google Educator Advanced series will focus on providing students with new experiences to enhance discussion and gather ideas with peers. While discussing Google tools such as Sites, Blogger, Calendar, and Hangouts, we will look at various ways that students can share their voice with a larger audience. Join us to look at some new ways digital communication can enhance your classroom.

Teq DTC: Google Educator Advanced Session 10 - Helping Students Take Ownership of Their Learning and Be Effective Citizens

In Session 10 of our Google Educator Advanced series, we will discuss ways in which students can take ownership of their learning. We will also work on strategies for giving students choice in their assignments. We will then discuss how these assignments can advance skills such as time management, organization, and academic growth. This session will focus on using technology for group work activities, having students choose their own activities, and creating and sharing presentations.

Preparing for the New School Year with Google

Your class did a lot of great work last year. Your Google Classroom is filled with discussions, assignments, and quality feedback, your Google Drive has your organizational structure for assignment submissions, and your collaborative apps have chats filled with evidence of all the work put in. We don't want to see it go, either! Before you hit that dreaded trash can icon, hear us out. In this session we'll tell you why you should archive instead of delete, and we'll show you how to do it! Hint: you and your students will still be able to access last year's hard work, and you'll set yourself up for even more success in the year to come.
