Every student could use practice with their geography. Google My Maps is a free online tool to create interactive maps that can be applied to a variety of grade levels and content areas. This tool allows students to engage with geography and tell a story using different places around the world, or even their local community. In this course, learn how to use My Maps with your students, regardless of the content.
Google Science Journal is an app that leverages the sensors in a smartphone or tablet to do science experiments anywhere. Take full advantage of the sophisticated sensors found in mobile devices alongside the free Science Journal by Google app and take scientific investigation outside the classroom. The compact form factor of mobile devices and the ease of use of this app will give students a sense of freedom to explore the world around them.
