Welcome to Session 1 of our Google Educator Advanced micro-credential series! In this session, we will introduce you to the upcoming courses, requirements, and assignments. We'll also discuss where you can access support during the series, and introduce you to the main themes and apps we'll cover. In Session 3 of our Google Advanced course series, we will dive into how to effectively differentiate instruction while following learning models like Project-Based Learning (PBL), Blended Learning, and Flipped Learning.
In Session 10 of our Google Educator Advanced series, we will discuss ways in which students can take ownership of their learning. We will also work on strategies for giving students choice in their assignments. We will then discuss how these assignments can advance skills such as time management, organization, and academic growth. This session will focus on using technology for group work activities, having students choose their own activities, and creating and sharing presentations.
Session 11 in our Google Educator Advanced series will focus on providing students with new experiences to enhance discussion and gather ideas with peers. While discussing Google tools such as Sites, Blogger, Calendar, and Hangouts, we will look at various ways that students can share their voice with a larger audience. In this session, we will prepare you with the necessary tools to complete your final assignment. We'll take a closer look at the rubric and review the Google Educator Certification process, should you decide to proceed onward with Google's own certification.

Welcome to the micro-credential track for SMART. In this introductory course, we will show you how to access the software, go through basic board and pen set up, and more.
In session 2 we will delve into the SMART Notebook program. In this course you will learn the basics of navigating and using Notebook to build engaging and interactive lessons. This first course on Notebook will go over using features such as pages, shapes, text, images and video.
In this course we will dive into best practices for delivering the lessons you have created. From students access, to creating content on the fly, to switching between teacher paced and student paced, this course will cover all you will need to know to deliver highly engaging lessons. Additionally, we will show you how to use Lumio, formerly known as SMART Learning Suite Online, materials for both direct and indirect instruction and how to view student data collected in Lumio.
Thank you for joining us for this series on SMART. In this final session, we will do a brief review of what we covered and discuss how to complete your final assignment. You will receive your micro-credential certificate once you have successfully completed all assignments (Session 4, 5, and 8) as well as passed the quiz for each course in the series. Once you have completed the requirements, your certificate will be posted in your Achievements tab on your dashboard.

Excel lets you create, view, and share spreadsheets while collaborating with others in real time. With this powerful tool, administrators can organize student information, develop school budgets, and create engaging charts to represent information around academic performance and population demographics. Teachers can construct gradebooks, discuss and view data sets, teach mathematics and science fundamentals, organize resources for class projects, and more. If you have data to collect and analyze, Excel is a great tool to consider!
Join us for Session 8 of our Microsoft micro-credential. In this session we will show you how you can take a powerful tool like Microsoft Excel, and make it that much better with Microsoft Forms. Forms is a survey and data collection application that allows you to autopopulate responses in a designated Excel spreadsheet. With this automation, you can easily analyze and recognize patterns in your responses using Excel. In this session, we'll not only show you how to use Forms in conjunction with Excel, but we will share some creative ways to use Forms for permission slips, quizzes, polls, and more!
In Session 9 of our Microsoft micro-credential, we will dive into Teams, a collaboration tool that enables users to work and meet together in an efficient way. Teams creates a “digital hub” for teachers and administrators, bringing together conversations, content, and apps in one common workspace, while also providing the ability to video conference. Teams is not just for teachers though — students can also utilize Teams as a protected and productive learning environment. Join us to learn how to improve your workflow and stay connected with Teams!
