In this session, we will discuss how to incorporate 3D design and printing into your science or social studies lessons on DNA, genealogy, family history, and our forefathers as we research and create family crests that can tell a story about our students' families.

Measuring the pH of Beverages Using Labdisc

In this course we'll look at another classroom use of Labdiscs. You will need either an enviro, general science, or biochem Labdisc to perform this activity. We will be predicting the pH of various household beverages and then measure the pH with more accuracy using the Labdisc. We will then analyze and manipulate the data of the acidity of different beverages within the Labdisc software.

Ready to learn how to blend math and art ideas in 3D printing projects? Join our session as we look at how we can apply math concepts in a 3D design environment. We’ll look at the concepts of volume, area, and capacity to make lidless boxes for 3D printing. We'll also explore translations and build tessellation tiles using TinkerCad for 3D design.
