Understanding by Design with Google

As you take on the critical role as the designer of your students’ learning, you are likely already designing with an end goal in mind. Understanding by Design has grown in popularity and has become one of the go-to strategies for curriculum design across the grade levels. In this course, we’ll explore how the G-Suite for Education platforms can help you collaborate with colleagues, in person or virtually, to practice the driving principles of UbD. We’ll go over tips and tricks for using the Google platforms to make a standards-driven curriculum for the upcoming school year, create valuable assessments of student understanding, and design engaging learning activities.
