In this course we will explore the importance of A in STEAM and how to incorporate process art in various mediums in an early childhood education classroom.  Participants will understand the difference between process art and product art and take away resources and ideas on how to incorporate technology (screen and non screen) in process art.

Jackson Pollock Inspired Painting

Over the course of several lessons students will learn about various famous artists.  They will explore seveal types of art and artistic movements by praticing basic research skills.  Students will have the opportunity to create a work of art inspired by the artist they are studying.  Students will also have the opportunity to build their vocabulary and work on their fine motor skills.    In this lesson specifically students will be learning bout impressionism, modern art and Jackson Pollock.  Like Pollock they will explore unconventional methods of painting and creating artwork
