Description In this activity students will cut out a handprint that belongs to the Giant from Jack and the Beanstalk. Students will use estimate how many beans it would take to fill the Giant's handprint, then their own cut out handprint. Then they can use the beans to find the actual amount and compare their estimate with the actual. This activity also practices place value.
