  • Illustrator Ed Steckley and author Brandon Snider will join Jennifer George in this special OTIS session where they will announce the new Rube Goldberg Cartoon Competition, in association with the National Cartoon Society and the Reuben Awards. This session will also expand on the topic of Rube Goldberg Machines to talk about the books Rube Goldberg’s Hum-Drum School Day, Rube Goldberg’s Definitely Different Day Off, and the new chapter book series, Rube Goldberg & His Amazing Machines. This session is a great opportunity to learn how to directly tie reading and literacy, along with illustration and cartooning into your STEAM curriculum
